Featured Artists - The Doctors
The Doctors have seemingly appeared from nowhere on the Lewes scene over the the last couple of years, but in fact they've been around for ever... Steve & Tom in the Dayglo Pirates, David & John in LBOK and The Coyotes, amongst others, not forgetting Prof Paul Stenner who writes all the material as well as sings it. They are a great band because, above all, their material is original, intellectually stimulating AND it rocks! It's an unusual mixture of American country rock and English prog folk rock - not exactly run-of-the-mill. They performed here at the Con Club recently to an enthusiastic reception and will be back again soon. Don't miss them!
