WYND is a mainly women band from Brighton. Most of the material played is original, written by band leader Wiccapedia. WYND formed three years ago and has played all over Sussex and Surrey. Due to some real interest in WYND from the industry, this winter the band plans to start recording our first album. WYND's ethos is about development and mutual support in growing as musicians, and creating a fun and entertaining performance. There is a very wide range of experience in the band. WYND comprises Wiccapedia: rythymn guitar, vocals, 5 string violin; Aldo Honary Woman: electric guitars, backing vocals; Joogum: bass; AnnBowlynn: violin, mandolin, hand percussion; Andy'The Gambler': drums, cajon, percussion. Our styles include folk, prog rock, heavy rock,latin,rock n roll, and other styles. Covers include songs by Joan Baez, Tom Petty, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Pat Benatar, Christy Moore and The Travelling Wilburys.
