 e for. This is going to be special: Two of the most exciting bands of rece
 nt years come together for one night only. Lewes' very own Dead Reds havin
 g just released their latest album on a double-bill with guerilla rockers 
 The Gulls who have just returned their Robin Hood tour.\n\nBar from 5:00pm

 sessions.co.uk\nThe Dead Reds\nThe evening will be kicked off by The Dead 
 Reds the outlaw band with a very modern edge and powerful social commentar
 y. They are a six piece band based in Brighton and Lewes who play all orig
 inal dirty British blues\, psych and rock and roll. Fresh from touring wit
 h the likes Alabama 3 and Cam Cole\, they have just released their latest 
 album\, Circle Serpent\, recorded Metway Studios at the end of last year a
 nd showcasing a broader sound both in genres and instrumentation. A very s
 pecial piece of work\, but it is thanks to their high-octane live shows th
 at the Dead Reds have established themselves as a firm favourite of the Br
 ighton music scene.\n\nThe Gulls\nThe people’s best friend and the counc
 ils worst enemy\, The Gulls have taken an alternative\, freewheeling appro
 ach to life. Living and traveling in their vans\, they’ve built a loyal 
 following across the UK and Europe through the impromptu\, outdoor perform
 ances and crazy publicity stunts they set up .\nAs frontman Will Fairhead 
 says\, "It could be 3pm on Portsmouth beach or 3am outside the clubs in Gl
 asgow\, but when we start playing\, anything could happen. Some of the sto
 ries from the last year alone… I’m quite amazed we haven’t been arre
 sted or killed. When you do crazy things\, crazy things happen to you."\n\
