 18+\n\nHugely popular Leeds-based trio Mik Artistik's Ego Trip are well kn
 own for their unique live performances and madcap antics deeming every per
 formance not just a gig\, but a truly momentous event. So much so that the
 y have been entertaining the Glastonbury Festival for the last 11 years. S
 ome say Glastonbury hasn't really started until they've seen one of Mik's 
 multiple performances.\n\nMik spouts poetic verse\, creates chaos\, plays 
 air-crook lock (!)\, and all-out entertains over the top of an exquisite l
 ayer of rock\, soul\, funk\, and punk created by multi-instrumentalist Jon
 ny Flockton on electric guitar\, mandolin\, banjo\, and ukulele.\n\nIn Dec
 ember 2019 no-less than rock icon and 6Music presenter Iggy Pop endorsed M
 ik's anthem of hope 'Sweet Leaf of the North' as his favourite song of the
  last DECADE!\, Iggy continues to support the band at every opportunity.\n
 \nMik Artistik’s Ego Trip are genuinely delightful\, funny\, frightenin
 g\, and indefinable. Northern rock and roll stand-up comes close.\n\nEver
 y show is unique as Mik finds a new train of thought to ride. He connects
 \, chats\, breaks the wall between audience and band\, creates chaos\, pl
 ays air-crook lock (!?)\, all complimented by exquisite layers of rock\, 
 soul\, funk\, and punk created by Jonny Flockton on electric guitar\, drum
  machine\, and one of a number of well-heeled bass players.  .\n\nThe ba
 nd are regular Glastonbury favourites since their first appearance in 20
 07.\n\nMany fans don’t consider Glastonbury has started until they’ve 
 attended either Mik’s gig on the Wednesday afternoon at the Croissant Ne
 uf Bandstand\, or the chaos that reigns at Thursday evening’s Rocket Lou
 nge gig. Both are now Glastonbury traditions for many fans.\n\nThey have a
 chieved an enviable reputation at many of the major UK festivals\, includ
 ing Latitude\, Bearded Theory\, Beat Herder\, Wilderness\, and Beautifu
 l Days.\n\nBBC Radio 6Music have long been playing Mik’s music with Gi
 deon Coe\, Chris Hawkins\, Shaun Keaveny and Tom Robinson all big fans 
 of the band.\n\nIn early 2020 no-less than rock icon and 6Music presenter
