TEM\n\nMirror System (A-Wave Records) is the downtempo and chillout projec
t of System 7's Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy. The distinctive Mirror
System sound is based on deep rolling grooves and the subtle blend of ric
h dreamy electronica and guitar. Mirror System’s successful debut album
was released in 2005. Since then they have expanded their style to incorpo
rate a soft tech-house element.\n\nMirror System live uniquely combines de
ep chill and non-frantic danceable grooves\, and gives Steve and Miquette
a perfect opportunity to deploy the classic Gong psychedelic sounds of gli
ssando guitar and EMS synthesizer with modern electronic beats and classy
 chill-out alchemy.\n\nMirror System have released 4 standalone albums\, pl
us one combined with System 7:-\n\nMirror System (2005)\n\nReflector (DJ m
 ix compilation) (2010)\n\nN-Port (2015)\n\nCafé Seven (with System 7) (20

son (of The Orb) and re-imaginings of Manuel Göttsching's 'Sunrain' and R
y Cooder's 'Paris\, Texas'.\n\nThe current Mirror System live set also cur
rently includes some of the softer tracks from the new super well-received
System 7 album ‘Flower of Life’.\n\n“Neither nostalgia nor reinvent
ion\, this is a reaffirmation and a stunning return.” Prog Magazine\n\nm

SANDO GUITAR ORCHESTRA &amp\; THE SEVEN DRONES\n\nIn the early 80’s Daev
id Allen was studying in a Tibetan mystery school in NSW in his homeland o
f Australia.\n\nHe learnt of many techniques and practices in the fields o
f meditation and self-awareness. It was at this time he started working mu
sically with drones. Continuous pure notes. These being the major notes of
the musical scale C through to B. He then realised these can have corresp
ondences firstly to the chakras in the body also to the colour spectrum\,
planets etc. E.g C base chakra\, connected to the Earth and the colour red
. These then ascend up through the body till we reach the crown chakra\, c
olour purple\, note B. By just experiencing these sounds in a receptive st
ate can have the effect of balancing and healing the individual not to men
tion the surrounding physical space\, emotional and mental space.\n\nIn 20
06 in Amsterdam at the Gong union weekend at the Melkweg there was the fir
st physical manifestation of the Glissando Orchestra playing these seven d
rones. Daevid felt it was the most important performance of the weekend. .
  . . .maybe it was.\n\nOriginal 7 drones glissando player and co-curator o
f the orchestra\, Brian Abbot\, will be joined with fellow curator Andy Bo
le\, along with Kev Hegan and Mark Huxley of &lt\;&lt\;NUKLI&gt\;&gt\;\,Pa
ul Woodbine of Deviant Amps\,Gregg McKella of Paradise 9\, and Jah Buddha
 aka Bob Hedger.\n\nhttps://youtu.be/9VlQ3FI61co?feature=shared\n\nhttps://
www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQZ0SruqsqU\n\nJAH BUDDHA\n\nJah Buddha aka Bob He
dger\, plays electronic music only using hardware in what is called “Daw
less” i.e. not using a computer. The music varies from complete improvis
ation to compositions which always contain an element of improvisation but
based on predetermined sections. It goes from ambient to Berlin School to
Trance\, always psychedelic and always changing.\n\njahbuddha.bandcamp.co
m/\n\nSHANKARA ANDY BOLE\n\nBorn on the harsh Lancashire moorland\, His mu
sical odyssey began with the resonant echoes of Greek melodies. The scent
of olive groves and the azure Aegean beckoned. Andy embarked on a pilgrima
ge to Greece\, seeking the wisdom of Bouzouki masters. In dimly lit Kafene
io\, calloused fingers taught him the secrets. But Andy’s musical explor
ations go beyond boundaries. His spontaneous compositions blend rich sonor
ities\, glissandos\, and intricate melodies\, creating a unique sonic expe
 rience.\n\nwww.andybole.co.uk/\n\nGREGG MCKELLA BAND\n\nGregg plays clarin
