  with the music of Paul Simon\n\nTickets  £15 + b/f  wegottickets.com/e

 nPaul Simon\, born October 13\, 1941\, in Newark\, New Jersey\, stands as
one of America's most enduring and influential singer-songwriters. Rising
to fame in the 1960s as half of the folk-rock duo Simon &amp\; Garfunkel a
longside Art Garfunkel\, Simon's partnership produced timeless classics li
ke "The Sound of Silence\," "Mrs. Robinson\," and "Bridge Over Troubled Wa
ter." However\, it was his solo career that truly showcased his artistic e
volution and lyrical sophistication.\nReleased on October 17\, 1975\, "Sti
ll Crazy After All These Years" marked Simon's fourth solo studio album an
d became a defining moment in his career. This Grammy Award-winning master
piece demonstrated Simon's maturation as both a songwriter and performer\,
exploring themes of aging\, relationships\, and personal reflection with
remarkable depth and vulnerability.\nThe album achieved remarkable commerc
ial success\, producing four U.S. Top 40 hits: "50 Ways to Leave Your Love
r" (No. 1)\, "Gone at Last" (No. 23)\, "My Little Town" (No. 9)\, and the
title track (No. 40). The collection represented a perfect balance of Simo
n's folk roots and his growing interest in jazz and sophisticated pop arra
ngements.\nThe album won two Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best
Male Pop Vocal Performance in 1976\, cementing Simon's reputation as a sol
o artist capable of matching his earlier success with Garfunkel. Notably\,
"My Little Town" reunited Simon with his former partner\, showing that th
eir artistic chemistry remained intact despite their professional separati
on.\nAs we approach the 50th anniversary of this landmark album in 2025\,
"Still Crazy After All These Years" continues to resonate with new generat
ions of listeners. Its exploration of middle-aged introspection and the co
mplexities of modern relationships feels as relevant today as it did nearl
y five decades ago\, proving that great songwriting transcends time and ge
nerational boundaries.\nThis show will capture both his work with Art Garf
unkel and his solo years in two sets that explore his depth and mastery as
a songwriter of the highest order.\nFeaturing Steve Wrigley\, Glen Richar
 dson and Charlotte Glasson.This show will be seated.\n\n&nbsp\;
