SUMMARY:Warrington Runcorn New Town Development Plan
DESCRIPTION:Love Thy Neighbour Presents:  Warrington Runcorn New Town Deve
 lopment Plan + Marina Moore\n\nTickets:  lovethyneighbour.seetickets.com/
 event/warrington-runcorn-new-town-development-plan/lewes-con-club/3731839\
 n\nBar from 5:00pm. Doors 7:30pm - 11:00pm. Standing.\nGordon Chapman-Fox
’s Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan project sees a bold visu
al aesthetic and striking retro-futuristic audio identity seamlessly melde
d together into one evocative musical package. Over six albums and three E
Ps\, Chapman-Fox impeccably soundtracks the construction and growth of a n
orthern English community from the mid 1970’s to early 1980’s\, render
ed in shimmering arpeggios and soaring\, euphoric leads.\nHaving been embr
aced by both the mainstream media (BBC Radio 2\, BBC Radio 6\, RTE) and ni
che publications alike\, as well as hitting both the UK album charts and m
ultiple end of year lists (Piccadilly Records\, Bleep\, Electronic Sound)\
, it’s clear that there is no end of appreciation for the impeccably pro
duced\, immersive drift of Warrington-Runcorn’s sound.\nWhile all of the
entries in his canon have garnered significant praise\, it was 2023’s T
he Nation’s Most Central Location that really put Warrington-Runcorn on
the map with Electronic Sound naming it album of the year and Rough Trade
dropping it at no. 13 in their list\, as well as netting Chapman-Fox a rep
eat appearance at End Of The Road Festival in both 2022 and 2024.\nThough
the strong visual aesthetic and impeccable world building is a strong part
of Warrington-Runcorn’s presentation\, it would be nothing without the
effortlessly evocative music that lies at the core of his essence. Bristli
ng synth lines that puncture the air\, rumbling basses and chord swells th
at you feel right to the spine\, with rhythmic arps and snapping delays ef
fortlessly taking the role of most of the traditional percussive elements.
\nWhere do we go from here? With WRNTDP’s sound making graceful stretche
s outwards into folky minimalism\, shimmering IDM and languid ambient ther
e is no way to tell for sure\, but it’s a guarantee that wherever it may
go\, Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan’s Music is perfect fo
r soundtracking the building of a new world\, or the ending of an old one.

rimental and modern classical dimensions\, Marina Moore pulls us further i
nto her inner landscape\, with a series of 3 EPs that will eventually be r
eleased as a full album. Owl is the first of these - with Marina’s allur
ingly strange\, painterly soundscapes hopping between the insular world of
a dusty studio\, to a wind swept coast\, recalling both Brian Eno at his
most pastoral\, and Vaughan Williams at his most tempestuous. marinamoore.
