String band music from the 1920s.

THE WEST ST RAMBLERS are Piers Clark (mandolin, guitar, vocals) and Keith Baxter (guitar, vocals) they play rags, stomps, waltzes, blues, fiddle tunes and old time string band music typical of the soloists, duos and small bands that played in bars, at functions, in concerts (and often on the streets !) of southern towns in the 1920s and 30s, think Charlie McCoy, Sam McGee, Gid Tanner, Blind Blake, The Monroe Brothers, The Mississippi Sheiks, The Two Poor Boys, East Texas Serenaders, Jimmie Davis, Roy Harvey and Leonard Copeland, Sylvester Weaver and you get the idea.

IN THE BAR - Free entry - Club open from 4:30 - Music from approx. 8:30pm.
