The uniquely captivating Lady Maisery conbine the talents of Hazel Askew, Hannah James and Rowan Rheingans (individually three of the most accomplished and adventurous artists in modern folk). With their latest album they have created a musically audacious, boldly political and manifestly personal record that reaches far beyond their previous work.

Frequent festival headliners, Lady Maisery have for over a decade enraptured audiences throughout the UK and Europe. But the separation imposed by the events of the last few years (as well as time spent away from one another on solo endeavours, with other groups and in other artforms) brought about a realisation of the importance that making music together has in their lives, and how giving one another that artistic freedom is one of the band’s great strengths. The result is Tender.

Award winning 21st Century contemporary singer-songwriter Chris Fox is an independent musician spanning the roots lexicon of Folk, Americana, Country and Blues. A genre defying troubadour, audiences are enthralled by his rich vocals, complex guitar playing, and loop pedal alchemy finding Chris to be humorous & thought provoking in equal measures. His naturally laid back, unostentatious style creates the perfect ambience for an intimate and inclusive live experience drawing listeners in with tales of the everyday and the unexpected.

Born and raised in Cambridgeshire, Chris Fox cut his teeth playing for pints in local drinking establishments along the river Great Ouse in 2014. Fast forward to an award-winning singer songwriter, Chris has performed at Folk Festivals, Clubs and Theatres in the UK and Europe as Headliner, in Double Bills and support for major acts on the UK Folk Scene.

‘Utterly breathtaking with amazing songs, confident guitar and a stunning voice, “one of the best live performances I have seen for a long time” shades  of Son House, John Martyn, KT Tunstall and Duke Ellington!’                                      Marc Higgins, FATEA Magazine June 2023
