Momentum are excited to be playing the prestigious Con Club in Lewes. They are a six-piece dynamic contemporary jazz-fusion & World Music ensemble, having had a sellout show following in last November’s London Jazz Festival.
With three well-received albums to their name, their songs encompass an exciting brand of World Music and Jazz, with an eclectic mix of Flamenco, Tango, Calypso and Reggae thrown into the musical mix.
The line-up features multi-instrumentalist Yosi Marshall on saxes, clarinet and flute, Johnny P on bass, the soulful vocals of Lonette Charles, the much-acclaimed Caroline Cooper on keys, talented Paul the Viskinator on guitar and Lyn the Skin on drums & percussion.
Momentum always attract enthusiastic audiences wherever they play, constantly performing new material at every show, always surprising the crowds with their inventive musicality.
