The Dead Sea Scouts launch their debut album, The Boys Set Out in their spiritual home of Lewes. The world’s premier “folk-off” band brings you stories of stories of Robber Janes, Butchers’ Wives, Table Dancers and their vertically challenged lovers.
The Boys Set Out is a record about movement, memory and what gets carried with us — told in fragments, refrains and returns. To mark its release, The Dead Sea Scouts play the album live in full at the Con Club, and throw in a few extras for the hell of it. This isn’t a note-for-note run-through…
